Hi,
I just purchased two ocellaris clown fish two weeks ago and they have developed black spots,Literally covered. I have been researching and its a toss up between black ich or stings. Could someone please help me. Tank water parameters are all fine, temp 76 degrees F. Fish seem very healthy and eat like pigs. I would like to solve this any input would be great thank you!!

Yes I believe mushrooms sting but ocellaris clown fish turn almost black and white as they age. I have one that looks just like yours.

I just thought it was unusual after two weeks of having them

Yes ,mushrooms sting ,and thats what appears to be happening to your clown...

I have never heard of ocellaris clowns turning black and white..
I've had a pair over 6 years and they are still as bright orange and white as can be
