He has fin and tail rot also. Use paraguard in a hospital tank. Treats for both.

I had that uv sterilizer, did nothing for the ich for me and the bulb didn't even last 4 months, so check the bulb regularly if you keep using it.

I had the same type problem except it wasn't ich. I thought 3 of my fish had it. But thank god they didn't. Turned out to b a fungus used pimafix cleared up in 2 days Hasn't come back.
