Could be spreading. Keep am eye on it and see if its receding. Only time will tell. If ur calcium levels are good and you add phytoplankton it should be fine. If it doesnt open at all, you should worry

they all open but i thought they were supposed to be longer is what im asking

No thats how it opens. They sometimes extend a little more. Mine under the moon lights looks like grass.
