Duncan partial head

I purchased a Duncan with two heads. Now the each head looks to be deforming (picture attached). Is this a sign of decay or growth? Has anyone experienced this with there duncans, if so what was the outcome?

I don't know what I'm looking at. I see the Duncan heads, is it the bulge on the left of them? When my Duncan grows new heads, they just sprout out under the bigger ones
