Hey guys,
I just got some green hairy mushroom polyps on a rock. I went through my regular acclimation process and went ahead and used coral rx as I do for my dip procedure. Soon after the mushrooms started spitting up string which I believe are their guts. Was it a bad idea to dip these guys?? Is there anything that can be done or should I let it run its course? Not all of the polyps are doing this, but the majority are.

They'll be fine, they are just ticked off and spitting up mesenterial filaments a defense mechanism.

From my experience mushrooms are literally unkillable.

Bribo, just wanted to follow up with a pic of what I'm seeing and want to make sure everything is OK.
