I have had two Turbo Snails die in the last two days. I have had the snails for about 4 week without problem
My water is as follows;
PH - 8.1
Ammonia - 0
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - 15
Salinity - 1.024
Temp 24 - 26 deg C subject to time of day.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why ?? If you need further information, please ask.

They can be sensitive to nitrates, but I don't think yours are high enough to kill them. Do you have any hermits that may have killed them to take the shell?

I have two Electric Blue Hermits, and they are bigger than the snails, and still in their original shells, so I can't see them attacking the snails. I think the dead snails were still in the shells as they were not hollow and the smell coming front the shells was as if something had died in them.

Huh, your parameters are all in line. How many snails do you have in the tank?
