This is the Mandarin I rescued last night. He did make it though and he has colored up nicely and is eating well you can see him zapping the pods.You can see how sunken his stomach is.
 
Thanks Steve, I watched him chase a piece of small flake,zap it and spit it out,guess it wasnt his flavor, I dont know what he's been offered but when he's looking better I will try and offer some different foods.

He is doing great,I sent you a pm... Your tank is setup longer than mine and just a bit larger 8O than mine, If you can see pods on the sides of the tank I would say you have a healthy supply of pods and with a 1000 lbs of liverock, I would get one... to start...
