fish wiggin at night.....

i have been wondering why my fish twitch uncontrollably. usually it happens after i feed them or at night. i don't think its that important but i was just curious. it happens in both my fresh and saltwater tanks. in my saltwater tank the fish that twitch are my blue green chromises. TIA

Do you have plants in the freshwater aquarium, and algae in the salt? You may be seeing pH and oxygen swings from day to night. Check your alkilinity, and make sure you have areation at night.
