Flower pots are hard to keep
I had 2 did great about 6 months than they slowly died off
their water has to be just right flow and parameters

Yea i had it for a while already and it just suddenly became like this.. did you throw out the rock when it died off

Gonis have been known to die off for no reason. When I was buying mine, an LFS employee said maybe they'll be fine for even 2 years and just suddenly die. They're beautiful enough to pay knowing the end result IMO. Make sure it's not getting a lot of flow nor too much light.

A very high end lfs near me which has corals up to 1000 dollars and are great at what they do said don't count on them living more then 6 months. Yes beautiful, but worth the money to die? Not sure.

I just had one die and it started falling apart in the tank... had to remove it so it wouldn't foul tank.

Very true. Wish I knew that from beginning. Now a lesson learn lol

I think every beginner has or had a flower pot
I know I did once upon a time
Theres something about them that draws it towards you
but yes 6 months life tops
