Foxface Acting Weird

I have a 72 bow . I got my new foxface last weekend and since last tonight he has been under a cave and brown. he has not turn yellow at all. I am going 2 do a water change b cause my ph is low and my n3 is high. do u think this is y he is streesing out?

They change colors anyway based on stress factors. What are your water test results?

And what else is in the tank. When they are stressed, they are very ugly IMO. I'm sure he's not used to the tank yet. I had one once and he wasn't happy and yellow until he ate, but yours won't yet 'cause he's still not used to the tank likely. Somebody may be making him timid.
