foxface anging at top

I have a foxface that has been hanging out near the filter at the top of the water. He doesn't continually stay there but I know that in freshwater fish this can be a sign of illness. He is eating and is active. I also think he has a lose stool. I have seen it come out very quiclky and in small pieces.
I know that sounds gross, sorry.

Actually the feces output sounds normal. Long stringy pieces or fluidic are the danger sign.

Please post a rundown of your water parameters (actual numbers) as well as your chemistry (pH/Alk). Some info on tank mates, tank history and set up other than being a 125 FOWLR would help as well.
