Frogspawn closing when light come on

I have a frogspawn coral that i purchased about 3 weeks ago. It used to stay open pretty much all the time but the last 4 days its opening when the lights go off and closes when the lights come on. What could be the cause of this? The corals are placed towards the middle bottom of tank.

I had a frog spawn that did this too. My light was to powerful for it. What are you running lighting wise?

Agree, could be too much light. Try moving it to the bottom of the tank & see what happens.
