Congrats! I know how tough it is when this happens. Heck I think we all do. It's part of the hobby and the reason this site exits. You are following some good advice by peopel who have also been through this. We do know that you can get past it and hopefully that's where you are now.

I agree 100% cmor. I hope I'm there too.

In retrospect - I would have done a Lugols bath on the head i seperated from the bad head which may have stifled the infection. It looked clean, the polyps were opened wider than ever, but still under the surface the infection lingered and overtook it in a matter of hours just a few days later.

Lugols may have been the day saver on that head.

So right. I didn't do it because I was like "what the heck is Lugols where do I get it blah blah" But if I just had it laying around it would have been a 2 minute job which wouldve maybe helped. I just hope the people following this thread who are newer can learn from my mistake.
