Frogspawn not sick just wondering

I have had this beautiful coral for awhile he wasn't put on plug so I put the spine in sea shell just wondering if ok too leave it there it's look great just don't want to grow in too shell Click image for larger version

if its happy I'd just leave it in shell that wont stop it from branching out
