gobie trouble

ne1 have trouble with gobies jumping out of the tank
i bought 2 diamond gobies
in about 1 week the one that i put in first committed suicide by jumping out of the tank and landing on the glass and died by baking under the lights

today the second goby did the same (jumped out and died from the lights baking it)

now i have eggcrate custom fitted to the top of my tank (before the 2nd one died)
leaving no more than 1/4 of an inch around the pipes coming into an out of the tank (skimmer prefilter box, intake, output and filter


man this sucks 60 bucks of fish blown in less than 3 weeks

Both of my diamond gobies jumped ship. But I have a pink spotted goby and a dragon goby and they have not jumped in over a year. Hold on a min while I knock on my wooden head. You might want to try this combo

I had a hi-fin shrimp goby jump. I got a randalls shrimp goby paired up with a tiger pistol shrimp, plus I built a hood and everything is well. The randalls shrimp goby is beautiful.
