I just noticed my purple dottyback has a white stripe down his left side that he didn't have before. He acts ok, swimming,eating ect. Anyone have any ideas what this is?

Anyone have any ideas what this is?

Do you have any open/unprotected PH's or intake tubes? The marking looks very symmetrical like the shape from a round tube....

Keep tabs on it for fungal and bacterial infections. Providing the water specs are good and you are feeding a good fortified diet, it should clear up in no time. If you aren't already, might want to add some Zoe or Selcon to it's food for little while.
