Help Wanted! I started a 30 gal reef tank a few months ago:

30 gal
30 lbs of LR
10 lbs of crushed coral
1 bubble anemone (came with the LR)
2 damsels (added 3 weeks ago)
1 blenny (added 2 weeks ago)
20 hermit crabs (added 2 weeks ago)
3 snails (added 2 weeks ago)

Here are the levels:
salinity: 1.022
ammonia: 0
nitrites: 0
nitrates: 0
pH: 8.4

Here's the story. I noticed a few days ago that one of the damsels has developed white spots. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that my tank has ich, and that I must now establish a QT tank. What is the best way to set up the QT tank, and clean my show tank? I want to make sure I do this right, thanks!

get a tank.. 10 gallon is mines.. make sure you are able to monitor the chemistry and temperature of the tank.. you have to acclimate the fish into the QT if the SG is different, or just to put less stress for the fish due to the chemistry change... if you're using instant ocean to mix it just mix it and wait till the pH goes up then put the fish in there.. i cover the sides of my tank and the top.. dont use lighting because ich is attracted to the light.. that's about it.. works for me.. hopes it works for you..
