Since you've only had it a short time, it could simply be acclimating itself to your tank.

How did you acclimate the coral when you first purchased it?

Also - what kind of lighting did it come from, vs. what kind of lighting do you have it under now?

i got it at my lfs and i acclimated it for an hour and a half by adding a half a cup of water every ten minutes

my salinity is 1.023 and my temp is 78... it came from 120 watts at the fish store to 96 watts in my tank

my coral has a layer of something that looks like jelly all around it... should i remove it?

I could be wrong but...

Is there anyway you can post a clearer pic. From what I saw of the >>first pic<< and these new ones, other than being oddly inflated there is no real sign of a problem.
