I have put over 2500 copepods in my 30 gallon aquarium in the last two months and just got a manderin goby a week ago through the mail. He was kinda skinny when i got him and hasn't gotten any bigger. I know they are a difficult fish to feed and have read and watched on youtube them also eat frozen foods along with pellets. I've placed both in front of him and even placed him in isolation with both to try to convert him but he won't eat. Anybody know a secret they'd like to share or should i just start saying a prayer?

soak foods in garlic extract
and keep trying
2500 pods there probably all gone already
mandarins can eat 2000 to 4000 pods a day
it takes time to train to eat frozen and pellets
and it's not always a sure thing

+1
isolation until he will eat.
Plenty of options of food.
Maybe start with live brine and work from there.

Yeah slowly introduce frozen food into their diet and maybe they will eat baby brine shrimp. Good luck, hope all works out :)
