holes in head Coral Beauty

Hi I just noticed my coral beauty has 2 holes just above the mouth is this normal. If not how can I treat. I am currently treating for ich. Shortly after adding the coral beauty to the tank it came down with ich. The ich wasn't too bad though. Can u guys help?

Sounds like Hole in the Head disease to me. see the appropriate section on this website for more info.

It sounds like marine head and lateral line erosion. Here is an article I wrote on the topic.

Do fish have nostrils? I just checked my damsels and that is a big no.

I was told that they are sensory glands. They are just above the mouth.
