how do i know if my mushroom corals are dead or alive?

I bought two small frags of mushrooms, the purple one is blooming quite nicely but my green one looks like its about to melt. Is it dead?

I don`t think so. Have you checked your water parameters. Do you have any pics. So many Questions. It`s just hard to answer without more info. Every once in awhile mine will look bad for a day and then come back. But check your water and make sure it`s not that. Good Luck

I also add Kent`s coral Acell to my tank for the mushrooms. Causes them to multiply and grow like crazy. But make sure of your water parameters first.
