okay read it so if i get a 10 - 20 gal tank with a sponge filter and heater and lil places to hide all i add is some salt water? mix up the water put it in the tank and let it run for a few hours and then aclimate the fish into the tank? do i need to check the levels in the qt tank?

I would let it run overnight at least before I acclimated the Tang.

well i spoke to liveaquaria they recomened i do a few things 100% do a freshwater dip bc my other 2 fish dotn have it so theres a chance i can get rid of it and keep it off in the water for the freshwater dip put formalin and some stresscoast and some of the salt that u put in a freshwater tank... also buy garlic extreme and put it in my main tank as wel as feeding the tang corectly as i was only feedng meaty foods when they need veggies
