I think those help in prevention. Once you already have the ich, I don't think you can combine UV sterilizers with copper or hyposalinity treatments But I'm not for sure, it's only what I've heard - I don't have one.

Ok. I'm going to get the uv just cause. But where should i go from here?

I don't have a hospital tank but if the ich is in the sand then really how would a hospital tank even help my tank as a whole.

I do have a 2nd tank that I think just ended the cycle because everything reads 0

But I'm scared to put them in there cause that will be their 2nd drip acclimation in 2 days.

What should i do

The way I understand it, the ich will die off over the 6-8 week period as long as there are no fish in the tank because it has nothing to feed on. But, if you leave the other fish in the tank it will not die off. That is why all fish need to go in the QT tank.

Exactly what rdnelson99 said. Make sure you do bare bottom in the QT.

As far as acclimation goes:

Fill 1/2 the QT with water from your DT, then either slowly add in freshwater to bring the salinity down or mix up some saltwater and then do small water changes to bring salinity down. Unless, you are doing Cooper treatment, then don't drop salinity.

Using the DT water is the best. No acclimation involved
