i have been lurking in the shadows and have found SOOOO much usefull information on these fourms. THANK YOU TO ALL!!

here is the question i have....i belive that my buddy has ich in his main tank. we trade corals back and fourth. tonight he just gave me a frag of his polyps. is there a chace that the ich could be on the corals or maybe even the rock? i know that i should probably have setup a QT for just this problem. I have some inverts and corals in my tank now along with a yellow angel, pink skunk clown and a watchmen goby.

I have the frag sitting in the bag and im windering if there is anything that i can do tonight with it if this would be a problem

TIA!!

~Jon

The ick parasite has different reproductive stages. Although the coral will not have/host ick it may transport it if coming from an infected system.
