Protein skimmer: aqua one G216
Powerhead: 3000 LPH (unknown brand)
Temp: 78
Nitrates: 0ppm
Nitrites: 0ppm
Ammonia: 0ppm
Salinity: 1.025

Livestock: 1 powder brown tang. 1 regal tang. 1 yellow tang. 1 pacific sailfin tang. 1 orange fin tang. 1 chevron tang. 2 common clowns. 1 pink spot goby. 1 royal gramma.

Corals: 1 mushroom colony. 2 zoa colonies. 1 finger coral.

Had the powder brown for 2 weeks. He started to eat a week a go. He is showing a small amount of ich. This has been passed on to my regal tang. I have a 45l QT.

I have been told about kordon/oasis ich attack being reef safe? Has anyone had any experience with this?

PB feeds on flake, mysis and brine shrimp. Nori.

Just to add the powder brown has small grains on his body and fin. He is also flashing or scratching.

Interesting information!

I think I will get a decent size tank to quarantine. Like he says you can set one up very quickly and keep it in storage when not in use.

Questions on QT,

1: what size?
2: what sponges should I use?
3: how often should I do water changes?
