im confused

Ok i thought my Mimic tang had ick so i took him out of the display tank and put him into my QT but he seems to have nothing on him. Im now questioning if he had Ick at all. Im going to leave him in the QT for a month and see if anything shows up but im not going to do anything to him if i dont see any signs of ick.

I hope im dong the right thing?

Ick will gourge on the fish and then they will fall off to the substrate where over two hundred tomites(babies) will come from each parasite. Just because there is nothing on him now doesnt mean anything. If you saw it on him before then they are still there.

Yup... what melosu said. It will look like it comes and goes, but it's just another generation of the little buggers. And they multiply exponentially. I wouldn't wait to see it again before treating. Each wave gets worse.
