Its alot like unsightly nose hair

& I really dont want it in my main tank.. The rock I received from Liverocks.com is covered with little hairs ( for lack of a better description ). Do I scrub them off or leave them. I dont want to smoother the coraline on the rocks and I dont want it dying off and causing a spike... But if its benefical I will leave it?? Any advice??

I dont have a camera but I know pecan2phat said he also has this stuff on his rock. Anyone out there get this stuff and have a camera to post a pic??
