live rock from ich tank

long story short
my friend is willing to give me 50lb of live rock but its in his tank which currently has ich. what do i have to do for the live rock to be ok to put in my tank?

and he will also sell me a canister filter and protein skimmer from the tank for next to nothing but again it was in his tank with ich. can i just clean them with hot water and they will be fine?

Let the LR sit in a rubbermaid tub for 8 weeks with a powerhead ,,and i would just let the other stuff sit out and dry for a week or so

and some of the LR isnt really all that LIVE more like base rock that he just added no more than a month ago should i do the same thing or just let that sit out and dry for a week too?
