I have had a long-tentacle toadstool leather (I think). I've had it for a couple of weeks and it has looked like its doing really well (tentacles always extended) but today I noticed one small part of it has gotten dark brown and lost tentacles. I assume that part is dying? Should I cut it off? It is close to my Kenya tree which has not looked as happy since the leather moved in and I tried moving it a few times but it didn't like the other places so I moved it back but it has not become as happy again. Both coral are in the middle of the tank, a few inches up in some rock. I've been feeding them phytoplankton a few times a week. The clown fish seem to be trying to nest in the leather? Water parameters have been good although salinity has climbed up to 0.26-0.27 a few times..
