I'm thinking of getting one of these for my 35gallon tank.

What do you guys think of them - I heard they can be very territorial and aggressive, and annoy cleaner shrimp??

Any fish I simply shouldn't put a Magenta in with?

FYI: Ocellaris clown, 2 skunk cleaners, 1 fire shrimp.

I got one about 3 weeks ago. He looked good at the LFS. Two days later he was covered with puffy white spots, fungus I assume. Spots where gone the next day and he ate and mingled with my other fish (3 blue damsels, 1 yellow tank, 1 clarkii clown and a lawnmower blenny) Three days later another spot on him, that is the last I saw of him.....
That's when I got my QT tank!
I think I'll get another when my two Fire Fish are done QT'ing...

Pretty fiesty fish actually. It should not pose a problem with the fish you have now. The shrimp might be okay as long as they are a fair size. If the shrimp are on the smaller side, they will definately be fair game. The dotty won't need to swallow them whole, but the rock can help open them up 8O

Be wary if adding any other fish of similar shape or feeding habits. They will become holy terrors if so.

Cheers
Steve
