Marine betta help

[Nu-Nu the eel]

Hey guys i dont know what this thing is on my marine bettas face. Its wayy too big to be ich, and its white. Lookes like it would be where a nostril would be, but its not white on the other side of his face. I dont think its just another one of his spots. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm. What's the texture of it like? Could it just be some sand stuck on him?

I have no idea... It looks kinda hard to me. Maybe he just cut himself on a rock and it is healing?
