Ok we have 2 clowns and one is larger than the other and they have already been though the courtship thing and the smaller one has given in. We do not know how old they are but the big is is about 2 inches (give or take) and the smaller one is about 1.5 (give or take). Here are some pictures of them in our 14 gallon biocube. Do you think that they are mature enough to mate?

definately, put in a terracotta pot in for them to host and maybe lay a clutch of eggs. There are a few things to help them as well.lots of food available without loosing good water quality, drop salinity down slightly and slowly to mimic spring time,

what do you mean when you say to lay a clutch of eggs, how far would you drop the salinity?

clutch of eggs means a bunch of eggs, mine lay around 250 every 14 - 18 days.I would go to around 1.020 but this must happen very slowly and be at the same time as plenty food, this mimics spring and enough food around for the fry to survive.

Ok thank you. But you think that our fish are big enough to spawn?

Do people sale clown's that are already breeding?
