Melafix?

Noticed today our blue tang has a price of fin missing! It was white a few days ago so I'm guessing this is fin rot? We were given Melafix so that my shrimp and snails would be ok. Anyone used this before? Was it good or bad?

I'm purring In a little over half the dose every second day! What about you? What is your stock and tank size?

Full dose every day along with full dose of pimafix. 20 g tank. 3 Mollies, 1 platy, 4 neon tetras, 3 zebra danios, and 4 ghost shrimp. You?

I'm doing 1 55 gallon with 2 black oscellaris clowns, 2 Benghai cardinals, 1 noeb goby, 1 cleaner shrimp and a couple of turbos. Then a 110 with 1 blue tang, 1 blonde tang, 1 bicolor angelfish , 6 olive snails and a couple turbos!

Besides smelling weird and making the water a bit hazy, I've never had a problem using either of them.
