Have a gold Midas blenny that has done great for the last year, but this morning he has a right eye that is protruding. Do you folks think it was an injury or is this a disease? In freshwater I saw this happen more than once. But not in saltwater...at least until today.

I have heard of pop eye in sw fish . But that's usually a water quality issue which I highly highly doubt is going on in your tank. More than likely an injury. Has it changed at all ?

He disappeared this morning. He was hiding yesterday but ate. Have had some low Ph issues the last few days with it dropping to 7.9, but I don't think this caused it. As it was just one eye and not both, I am assuming it was an injury and not a disease.

That's great. I did do some reading in my book. It does say an infection can only effect one eye. Something I didn't know .
