Montipora not opening on one side....
I got a new monti frag in my tank and the snails knocked it over onto my GSP colony while I was at work the other day. The polyps are open, but not fully.
It hasnt opened fully only in that spot where they touched for a day or so. Are GSP's capable of that kind of sting? Will this area of the monti recover if it has been damaged? |

I don't know about the GSP's, but... I had a frag fall into my torch coral before. It was closed for WEEKS, then opened back up nice and healthy. Now it's good to go!
Give it time, place it in a high light/flow area, and it will come back.
