my 1st loss

today in my hospital tank i found my royal gramma breathing heavily with white spots all over him
but he was sort of stuck on the intake pipe of the hob filter
as soon as i touched him he swam away then 1 hr later he passed on

poor thing
hasnt been eating for days

rest in peace goood buddy

So sorry to hear that. I get attached to the guys, even if i haven't had them that long.

May I ask where you buy your fish? Elmers perhaps (in Monroville)

Sorry about your loss. Was he in the QT process or was he in the hospital for something else?

Sorry about the gramma too... I lost a few fish recently. They had good long fishy lives, but it's still sad when you lose a fish.

I have gone to Wet Pets in the Peters Twp - McMurray area a few times. That is fairly close to you.

i too lost a fish, poor wrass, the guy didnt eat, i kept telling him and telling him that he must eat to live, but he refused... poor guy

I know how you feel. My first and only loss so far was also a Royal Gramma in QT.
