My C. C starfish.

My starfish has been loosing its outer later on one of his legs. Not sure if he got clipped by the crab or what but it seems to be getting worse.
What should I do?

That happened to mine,

How old is your tank?
How long have you had the star?
How long did you acclimate him/her?
I cut all the corners and had to show him the local sewers :-(
