my kole tang scratching

my kole tang which ive had for a long time is starting to act weird

he will utrn really light and start swimming around really really fast and sometimes scratchin himself on the sand and lr
he has no bumps or anyt hing

I would QT the tang ASAP. Then monitor it for any type of illness. Be prepared to treat for paristies. My clowns did the same thing right before a ick breakout. HTH

i just got a 10 gal tank
do you have to cycle a qurantine or can i just take my tank water and pour it in there and boom its cycled??

Just fill up your Q tank with water from your display. Make sure to keep a close eye on the levels, you may need to do frequent water changes.
