my new cleaner shrimp is dying, please help!

i just bought a cleaner shrimp earleir today, and dipped the bag for 1 hour in the water, was doing fine, and placed him in a bucket with his water, and began drip accumulating him. I came back 30 min later, and hes all curled up, barely moving, but still moving. I touched the bucket water, and compared to the tank water, is a big dif. having not alot water in the bucket, i guess it temp dropped fast in the bucket. compared to the tank, with pumps, lighting etc.

but now i dont know what to do? im thinking theres really nothing i CAN do, and to just wait it out, but maybe theres a way?(praying) i feel bad, i havent even had em yet, and hes already dead.


Anyhow, sorry if i posted htis year, was hoping id get more immediate exposure and response.

put him back in the bag and try to drip him that way in your tank and just empty water as it fills

hes a gonner now this really sucks. Im going to try a dif approach, most likely yoiur method morgan when i do end up replacing him again. 17$ and a life down the drain

Next time float the bag in your wet/dry if there's an open space and drip from the main down to it. That way you will maintain the temp.
