my skimmer going crazy

Hey guys my girlfriend little brother was playing around my tank and i thought nothing of it till I heard my skimmer going crazy it was turned right down. I then looked over and saw an open bottle of antired and the measuring cup out he poured 30mls into my 55 gal I heard it can kill everything if over dosed I can't get to the fish store till at least tomorrow arvo :/ what can I do

I would do a water change with whatever water you can.

I got a lot of it out with the skimmer in running it pretty aggressively right now I'm gonna let the water level drop a bit while skimming and then too up tomorrow would that be okay? It's 830pm here right now so nothing is open and I don't have any salt water on hand right now

The solution to pollution is dilution. Water changes.

Cheers ill do some water changes tomorrow sorta worried cos if it is overdosed it will kill them off in the next 8-10 hours
