Naso tang changing color

My Naso is a different color this morning. The area around his eyes that is normally yellow is a pea green color and his whole body is darker. He is eating and acting the same but I was just a little concerned.

My unicorn tang changes color, too. He usually changes color when he is surprised, and at night. He takes on a stripped look. Maybe it is a tang thing. Did u see him earlier this morning than usual?? Idk what it could be. Have you asked your LFS?

Many fish do this. It might be aggressiveness, lighting, mood, ph, feeding, or even time of day. My African cichlid does this to me also. He Is a very dark blue with light blue stripes, to a blue-grey, to light blue with dark stripes. Killifish, frogfish, and cowfish all do this also.
