Naso Tang question

Hello

I bought a Naso Tang and when he is idle you can see his gills moving pretty rapid, otherwise he seems fine. He is also eating. Is this normal? Also he is three inches long can he stay in my 25g until march when my 150g is ready?

Have you checked your water parameters yet? What other fish do you have in this tank?

nitrates 0, ph 8.4, phos 0, cal 450, temp 78, sal in range. maroon clown, 2 tomato clowns, blue spotted goby.

LFS in my area will sell anything, so mad that I bought this Naso tang without research. Online they say it needs 180g tank. The owner of lfs said yeah it will be fine in your 25. Now I have to find a 180g tank instead of the 150 I was going to get. Seems like a fish that shouldnt be so available in these stores.

We just have to educate!
