Need help qt tank?!?!?

I have a tank set up and I am treating my fish for ich. Should I use display tank water for water changes because I am getting high ammonia readings and I don't want to hurt the fish.

If you use the DT water for water changes then you might be introducing the parasite back in. Clean and new water is what you need to add as PWC.

Also add a sponge or rock from the dt into the quarantine so beneficial bacteria are present.
