New carpet anemone

Just bought a green carpet nem yesterday, I acclimated him for 1.5 hrs, he's now in place and doing a poo.
However he hasn't rooted his foot as yet, should I just sit it out and wait until he's ready? There's not much else I can do I suppose

Yep. Just wait it out. How is that trigger doing with corals?

Thanks for fast reply... Trigger hasn't touched any coral, I've had him 3 months now.

Update, just come home from pub to find carpet nem is sitting upright and proud, I'll treat him to a silverside tomorrow

Your very correct, it's bloody huge so I've warned all residents to 'step away from the green'
I'm still concerned about the big open mouth though

We're now settling in well, foot is firmly attached and he reacts to the lights coming on/going off.
His mouth looks to be happier too.
I've had no success with food though he'll stick to a silverside then just let it drop
