Niger trigger with eye issue

My niger has a messed up eye. Just noticed it yesterday but not sure how long been this way. It kind of looks glassed over. Will try to get a pic if I can but he is really shy. Anyone have an idea of what could be wrong or how I can help get well.

Not a great pic but can kind of see it. Almost looks like he is wearing a contact len.

It could be a bacterial infection or due to injury. Make sure it's diet is good (adding vitamin supplements is a good idea) and maintain pristine water quality/parameters.

Mine had the same thing. He was new and getting harassed and harassing others. I didn't know if it was injury or not, so left him be and he healed in a few days. There were no other signs of "damage" on him or anybody else. That's why I let him be. Hope yours is the same and heals up soon.
