Normal?

I've had these yellow polyps for 2 weeks. The ones that are closed are always closed. They swell and look like they are going to burst-but they never open. Sometimes they swell at the bottom. Sometimes at the top.

Are these new polyps that are still forming and will open someday? Or, were they damaged in shipping/handling and will someday die off?

They look OK to me. I would give them time. I don't think they are "new" because once they start spreading you will see the foot of the polyp sort of splits off and leaves a tiny new polyp.
