Ocean Water

How does the Ocean cure fish when they have parasites? I am currently useing Ocean water www.Catalinawater.com , will this water help a sick fish?

Dilution is how the ocean deals with parasites and disease. No miracle cure will be found in ocean water. Sorry.

What RMP says.... I would say a cleaner shrimp or fish would be what would help in the wild. If you have a sick fish then a QT tank and meds may be the way to go.

I live in so-cal and the lfs's around here sell Catalina water as well. I started using it under the impression that it was pumped from Catalina Island area. It's not. It's pumped out of San Pedro Harbor!! Arrrrrgh!!! The harbor is filthy!

It's very inconsistant and caused my water many problems. I won't use it again.
