I have a tank sitting out an ICH outbreak. I still have a few crabs, snails, a brittle star, and 2 scollops in the tank. I plan to leave it fish free for 6 weeks. Would it be OK to add an eel during this time? Also how adding more live rock? Or should the tank be simply left alone during this time?

I would not add an eel at this time. Even though eels may not show the physical signs of ich, they can still act as hosts for the little buggers during their lifecycle.
IMO I would leave the tank as it is for the duration of the 6 week wait period. You may want increase the heat in your tank to 82-84 degrees to speed up the life cycle.

No...I wouldnt suggest it. You want to speed up their lifecycle, but you still want to wait at least 2 weeks longer than they are supposed to be able to live just in case. HTH.
