Parasite?

My tank has been running 3 weeks with live rock in it. This morning, I turned the light on and there was about a 3 inch worm scaling the front of the glass. All around this worm were tons of little white specks scaling the glass as well. They are visibly moving around. We removed the large worm but the smaller specks are still there. What are these things and are they parasitic?

umm. do they have like little tails?? if so, it could be just copepods.. that's all.. nothing to worry about..

wudduya know, it took plenty of squinting but I think I found little tails on them. Thanks a lot for the reply!
