Pinched mantle on clam?

It's only in that corner of the clam. Does it look pinched and or the beginnings of the entire mantle becoming pinched?

Well I went ahead and did the freshwater dip 2 days ago. He's still in recovery but hopefully will pull through. This is what he looks like now. I know you can do another freshwater dip 2 days after the first one. Should I go ahead and do another? Any comments?

That clam looks to be on his way out IMO. I'm still not sure about the pinched mantle, but if you can see light through it, I would say it's chances are slim at best.
